Kylie's Story:
Kylie's passion for early childhood education began in 2007 while she was completing her Liberal Studies degree at Fresno State. After graduating with an Early Education Emphasis Credential, she spent five years directing a childcare center in Northeast Fresno before moving into public school teaching. When her son Brooks was born in 2017, she knew her dream of owning her own preschool was within reach — and Big Dreams Private Preschool opened in 2018.
Keri's Story:
Keri brings over 30 years of experience in medical and business management. She's known for her genuine commitment to customer service and her ability to build lasting relationships. At Sunnybrook, Keri manages all day-to-day operations: communication, safety, tours, scheduling, enrollment, and tuition. Every child is one of her "grandbabies."
Our Philosophy
We believe in hands-on, themed, play-based learning. Our preschoolers get messy with paint, playdough, and sensory bins. We learn shapes through games, not flashcards. We find letters on scavenger hunts across the playground. We build number sense through cooking and STEM activities.
Social and life skills are just as important as academic knowledge. We want children to say please and thank you naturally, ask a friend politely to share, and show empathy when someone is upset. Children thrive when they're in a safe space that allows them to make mistakes — because here, mistakes are teachable moments, not reasons for punishment.
Being a little human is hard work. Our teachers come alongside each child with the developmentally appropriate tools and patience they need to grow.
